How long does gas and oil last in a car???? As I have 5 cars and one Harley ,one of them gets very little
I think the gas-goes-bad thing is a bit overrated. I started a fresh engine on two-year-old gasoline and it drove just fine. Tank was sealed, had no water, about 1/4th tank. I ran it a bit, filled it up and zero problems.
Oil I don't know. I imagine it would take many years of sitting to gum up, if it's reasonably fresh. There's a hint in the excessive "3000 miles or 3 months" thing -- maybe annual changes for rarely-driven cars would be a good idea. Oil's cheaper than engines (for now :-)
