Now if I can just get rid of that annoying clunk from the calipers. Is the best solution to track down some new support springs or should I put a piece of rubber from an inner tube in there to stop it. The brakes are 1000% better than the old discs that's for sure, now if the clunk would be gone I'd be so happy.
Hmm, my Bendix calipers (in both cars) aren't loose enough to clunk. In fact the Rambler brakes (from a 79 V8 Spirit) tend to be a bit on the tight side; the Hornet set (80? Concord) side by hand, but I don't think are too clunky -- or maybe I'm just used to it. I'll go listen tomorrow.
