I kept two sets of bolt holes common (bottom spindle, top upright), for strength purposes. The bottom bolts to the spindle matched the top holes of the plate and upright. The plate was bolted at the bottom on the upright so you basically have a spindle kinda hanging up in the air. That is why I say to gusset the plate, to avoid flexing. I think it was about an hours worth of work. You are limited by the spacing of the bolts unless you want to get creative in fabbing a plate......Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
