Nick The rods can be bushed to any size, the issue is that we DON'T have a drop in rod ( replacement) for the guys that are just needing a rod for a press fit. Anybody wanting to float them can ( could have), now there is no choice, you will have to run a floater. I will say that 98% of all engines I have built have been pressed fit on the pistons and rods. In the end, the rods will be corrected, and the next batches should be corrected, and with luck I ( you can push for it too) can get them to make the 68-69 390 rod from the same casting. We have looked at it and it can be done. Yes, always something, BUT we do at least have the 401 rod. Andre " A.J."
