The radiator in a Jeep Cherokee (like this one) is quite a bit different from an AMC passenger car and will require modification to work. The Jeep brackets are angles quite a bit and are very deep. It should have a deeper oil pan that holds an extra quart -- no good on a car because it extends past the crossmember and catches everything (I know that from experience!). Just change the pan to a car type along with the pickup tube. > > On August 3, 2005 mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > > I looked at a recovery tow Jeep today; 79 Cherokee (it > > has an "S" on the badge, whats that?) 2 dr. > > 258-4spd-PS-PB and a real nice deep 3 row radiator > > with shroud- yum!!
