Michael -- AMG has nothing to do with anything BUT the H1 and military Hummers (essentially the same vehicle -- same basic body anyway). GM bought rights to the name and builds the H2 and H3. I'm not sure you can even get an H1 any more! AMG didn't have the dealer/marketing network to sell like GM -- all H1s were essentially hand built after the basic product rolled off the line. The H2 is a Tahoe with a box body, the H3 a Trail Blazer with a box body -- oh yes, and the distinctive Hummer grille and name. That's all! But GM WANTS you to believe you're buying a civilianized military vehicle, not a military looking civilian vehicle.
