So either the factory changed later on, or I misread the bolts I pulled from 60s cars. Sure hope it is the earlier!! I've been recommending grade 5 bolts for spindles because the factory used them. I've pulled brakes from 70s cars, I'm using 79 Spirit disks on my 63, but I didn't bother to check the bolt ratings. I reused the original bolts -- mixed between the original 63 and 79 depending on length needed -- anyway, so it didn't matter. I'll stop recommending grade 5s from now on though, and recommend replacing with equal grade instead!
