I have a 2003 F250 Super duty that I have used to tow my 77 to several shows. I live in Las Vegas and have towed to Kenosha, Sacramento, Denver, and New Mexico so far. This truck has the 6.0l Deisel, auto trans with the tow package. This truck goes up and down 6% grades at 2000 rpm, with out a care. I can pull Baker grade loaded and pass at will. This truck is a 4 wheel drive crew cab, so it it pretty heavy. The trailer I have been using so far is about 2000lbs empty with my 3000lb car on top. My truck gets 15mpg fully loaded. Empty it gets slightly better. There are more Super duty trucks running aroud Vegas then any other brand. I had a budy that started with a V-10 Dodge, swapped to a deisel Dodge, then switched to a Super duty to haul his 35ft travel trailer. We have some pretty steep hills around here.
