I'm changing the front carpet in my '67 rebel and ran into a couple of things that maybe some of you have experiance in:
At the top of the front carpet, there are several (4?) plastic button/push pins holding it up. Is there a secret to releasing these? There seems to be a hole in the middle that you could maybe stick something like a pin or the eraser end of a pencil in. It doesn't seem to screw, and I'm afraid of tearing it up. What's the trick to getting these out and reusing them?
I have the gas pedal that pivots from the floor; Can't seem to find the screws that attach it. Haven't been underneath, nor have I peeled the rubber of the pedal up from the bottom to a point of no return, but I don't see anything obvious.
Thanks for the help,
Jim Boone
