Yes, just like in the 80s collector car craze, these stupidly high prices won't stay that way. The people who are buying these cars will lose interest and prices will go back down some. But I'm thinking prices for some of the traditionally less desireable cars (like AMCs in general) will still go up some in the fall out. While people have realized that the prices are getting ridiculously high on some cars (and without good reason), I think they will have realized there are others out there that prices have been way to low on as well. It will hit the popular models like the AMX and Javelin first, and may not even get into the more mundane AMCs, but it will be hard to get the more collectible AMC models in the future. That would be the case anyway, since there will be fewer available as time goes on, but the prices should rise at a higher rate than they have been.
