Also, AMC offered these as an option in some years. The factory ones plugged into the headlight switch (there was a pigtail for the brown wire) and the parking brake warning light switch had a pigtail that went to the "brake" terminal on the fuse block. The wiring diagram I have at http://www.mattsoldcars.com/techinfo/images/68amer.gif shows this.

I have been forgetting to turn my headlights off alot lately on my 66 american and tonight it resulted in me having a dead battery. How can I wire a warning buzzer (like my eagle has) to alert me when my lights are on? I used to think those warning buzzers were stupid but now I think they are great and want one on my american. Thanks.
