I was putting the lower side moldings back on my 73 Javelin today and had to take the front wheels off to get to the front trim screws. I noticed that my passenger side front coil spring is broken on the lowest coil about three inches back from the bitter end. I had never seen this before. It is a fairly clean break diagonally across the coil. The two parts have separated. I have replacement coils for the car, but had no immediate plans to use them. Guess I will now.
