Frank, Thanks for the info. My local shop said they did not have anything like that. Now when I say local, we're in small town backwoods eastern NC. There are a couple of Jeep off road specialists within an hour's drive from here on the NC Outerbanks and a big Jeep dealer in Chesapeake, VA. There's a big drive train shop in Norfolk, VA. I'll let you know how it all turns out. I have all my parts and pieces (minus the thrust washers) to do the model 20 upgrade that I mentioned to you before. New 4.10 ring and pinion, one-piece axles, disc brake kit, bearings etc. all finally here and ready to go. Thanks for the info. Those things are pretty generic -- a Ford 9" or Chrysler 8.75" use just about the same thing, or maybe a Dana 60. The shop should be able to match one up, then you'll know what to order if they don't have the right thickness. > > On June 25, 2005 Bill Garwood wrote: > > > Hello AMCers, > > > > I'm rebuilding my AMC Model 20 and thought I had all the parts ready > > to go.
