Re: Hornet, two weeks later

Tom, I should have the right gear for that.
I'm thinking it is a 29 tooth gear, maybe 28.
I parted out the 73 it was a 904 trans with 2:73 axle.
I won't have time to do much till the 7th of July as we fly out to San Diego tonight. If I can find it though and get time before leaving tonight. I think I know where it is. I can stick it in my bag and bring it along and drop it in the mail to you.
Or you could drive down to San Diego and pick it up!
We'll also be travelling out to Palm Springs and the Joshua tree area, maybe we could even meet up somewhere!
Send me a direct email and I will check for it while out there.

At least you used stock rear gears, so should just be a matter of getting the right speedo gear for the trans. You're using a 904, right? What rear axle? Should be able to look up the gear in a TSM. I have access to all mine now!!

Like the ones I had on my car, but the center is painted silver with a chrome rim and small hubcap. Would be perfect for your white and grey car. The "silver" paint is more of a metallic grey to me...
