http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/j2sax/album?.dir=/9513&.src=ph&.tok=phdVeLDBqWhG6.pO Copy/paste this link into your address Bar and take a look at this nice Pacer. A lister already has first dibs, but if you're interested, let me know (the couple of you that contacted me last time, if the first deal doesn't work I will pass it down) The old fellow that has it (from an elderly couple's estate sale) says the mileage is right (60K) and from the condition of the interior and total lack of rust, I believe it. He is disappointed in the paint job (matches factory as it had some roof/hood fade in the original) but to me it looks like it was never given final buffing. None of the wheelwells rockers show any sign of rust repair. I drove this thing and it really took me back... though it was nicer than my Pacer Coupe which was junk back in 84 (blew oil pump and parted it out). It has a stumble but it rides smoothly. I think the original catalytic converter has deteriorated as the pipe was smoking after a longer than expected test drive (got lost!) The guy is pretty serious about his $2900. He has spent a lot of time with a couple of "out of staters" who didn't pan out, so he wants serious calls only. He'd rather stick with locals, however, I can't imagine this baby getting handed off to some teenager who really wants a Honda and beats it to death. Has anyone ever done a 4.0 conversion on one of these? I can't afford this one but in the future, I would like to do a 4.0 (eventually 4.6) conversion on one of these. I have a 4.0 (blown head gasket) and RWD OD trans from a Comanche that would make a great combo in one of these. Will the (87) autoo trans fit? Have a great week, Jesse __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Find what you need with new enhanced search. http://info.mail.yahoo.com/mail_250
