Re: Javelin accelerator cables



The car has the older style pedal setup, and you're
right, the 74 has the newer type of fitting.  But this
shouldn't be an issue with the stock engine, a pre '70
R4B manifold and even a different accelerator cable
bracket.

I was thinking of jimmyrigging the cable as you said,
but I have this fear of being on the freeway with a
large semi behind me, stomping on the gas and getting
nothing because it comes loose.  And the matter of
cutting up a perfectly good OEM cable that I'll have
to junk eventually.
