Re: Front (and rear) springs

" From: Russ <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

" The Javelin uses 2 1/2" rear springs, the American 2"
" out back. You would have to monkey with the perchs.

shazbat. all javelins, early and late? what about amxes?

" On the front springs, what is the stand alone height
" of the Jav V8 coil versus I6 springs.
" []
" But is the jav I6 spring shorter than the American I6
" spring.

ah, that is the question!

" I am running Sc/Rambler springs in my 65 232 and
" though stiffer, not unbearable. In fact, with the
" complete Scrambler suspension under the car I get
" favorable comments on it's ride.......

i have stock-hd [100lb/in all around] springs in my '68 199. the kyb
shocks are a little hard but i rather like it.
