Front (and rear) springs

The Javelin uses 2 1/2" rear springs, the American 2"
out back. You would have to monkey with the perchs.
Chryco makes a 2 1/2" installation kit, so you could
go that route on one end. The other end can be adapted
pretty easy.
On the front springs, what is the stand alone height
of the Jav V8 coil versus I6 springs. I swapped these
two springs on a 72 and they were a drop in swap. The
68/9 Jav is different though, due to the trunnions.
But is the jav I6 spring shorter than the American I6
spring.
I am running Sc/Rambler springs in my 65 232 and
though stiffer, not unbearable. In fact, with the
complete Scrambler suspension under the car I get
favorable comments on it's ride.......Russ
