I didn't mention, it was a dealer in Reno, NV (about 400 miles away from me) selling the car, and not only was the AC on the fritz, but the temp gauge and fuel gauge weren't working. They offered at first to fix it all and pay for a one-way plane ticket back (I had driven a rental car there), but rescinded at the last minute the day before I was to fly up there to get my car because working AC wasn't a requirement (it is if you're a dealer in NV and you list it as optional equipment). That fiasco cost me nearly $100 and an entire weeked, for which I got no compensation. Likewise, the upside is still how much money I've saved buying other stuff over the years.
