This is what I envision doing to a 62 American two door sedan sometime in the future. A 3" slice out of the body all around, cut down windshield (and laid back some), and maybe reworked wheel arches. Doors will be welded shut and front fender seams welded for a seamless look. Oh yes, no roof so it will be a hop over the door afair. With turbo four, five speed, IRS, and four wheel disc brakes (at least I assume the Merkur XR4Ti has rear discs -- might be drums).
