Joe, that's the problem with E-bay any more. They are so big and rely so much on sellers that they don't want sellers to feel hassled. I was just sent a broke LCD monitor. Most likely broke when UPS man threw it across a truck even though it was pretty well packed. When I sent the guy an e-mail he said he'd "look into it". I know UPS insures everything for $100, all he has to do is file a claim. I paid with PayPal so giled a compliant with them. I got an e-mail a few days ago saying that "seller denies problem", but investigation was still under way. They take 30 days to decide anything. I just hope they froze the disputed amount in the guys account. I filed a complaint BEFORE contacting the seller so they could. A couple years ago I had a problem and they recovered $30 from a $120 loss. I e-mailed the seller back and forth for a couple weeks, they sounded like they were attempting to work with me, but just drained their account. This will only be the second loss in five yea!
 rs of e-baying and PayPal, so it's not that big a deal -- even though I don't like paying $130 for a parts monitor! 

But Joe, you need to stop agonizing over that guy and the fact that the order was messed up and call Indy and see if they will help. There's nothing you can do about the seller not wanting to at least swap the springs out for you. Indy might do it and complain to or cut off the seller.
