Andy, just pull the 4 nuts off the rear of the drive shaft and wire it to the rubber mount right above the end, to be safe and make sure it doesn't pull out of the trans (whill you are pulling it down the road), you can duck tape it or run wire through the u-joint at the trans end and tie it off to the trans itself. Doesn't take long, you only need two 1/2 wrench/sockets and a little wire. To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <ADVANCES62IEAOeIiGX00000182@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Yeah, direct quote from the wife! I just bought another 64 440(no H with this one). Some of you may have seen it on Ebay recently. The white one with the red interior out of Escondido CA? Anywhoo, now I have to get it here to Las Vegas. I have access to a tow dolly from a fellow club member(Hi Ron! Can I borrow your dolly?!), but it occured to me that this is an automatic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I can't just put it in neutral and dolly it back. Is there any way, besides taking the car apart, to move this car 300 miles without renting a trailer?
