A: Another quick and easy regulator is '68 Dodge truck. The heavy duty version used to have an adjuster hole so you could dial in the output of the alt. Very simple setup too. 1 switched wire in (resistored ignition unless you adjust it) and field wire out to the alt (case MUST have a good ground to work!). I used to hook them up to Chev or Ford alts in tractors and dune buggies before the Internal Reg alts became so cheap.
