That certainly seems to be the common theme for responses to my question!  I'll look at it again.  Modifying the bracket is probably no big deal, I'll have to look at it (meant to last night, but after a 12 hr shift, then heading to Lowe's to pick up the last of the upcoming hurricane season supplies including plywood, just didn't get to it).

I'm more concerned about getting the wiring right for this conversion...
