I might look into that, but I'm not getting just a chatter! What I'm getting is a definite clunk-clunk-clunk... Like a Detroit locker ratcheting. But if I give it a little power it stops, so might be the clutches. It has the correct lube in it, but I may get some of the GM stuff and check oil level. ow I'll feel real stupid if I look and discover the level is way low (shouldn't be, car mostly sat for a year, 3K miles on it the year I was in Korea at the most). But I won't tell... ;> On May 13, 2005 George Graham wrote: > Since '68, I've been into more-than-I-can-count limited slip units (mainly > GM and AMC), and a lot of the time all it really took to get rid of the posi > clutch chatter was good lube (kind of makes up for the worn clutch packs to > some extent).
