THe little anti-rattle clips that fit between the top of the pad and the bracket you can get from AutoClone etc.
You can buy a squeeze bottle of the anti-squeal goop you apply to the back of the pads, it's sort of a sound-deadener and "glue" both, sticks the pads to the caliper and/or bracket.
If the wedge is bent from being whacked on (probably from being installed wrong in the past) get new ones. If the wedge is too tight, the caliper will not float in the bracket, and the brakes will drag, won't brake as nice, and will wear faster.
The tiny bit of runout on well-turned rotors bumps the caliper away from the pads so they run clear.
I've got a little Radio Shack IR thermometer; more than once I've detected minor brake problems with it; each side should be the same temperature, if one is hot it's dragging or sticking. Same goes for drum brakes.
