Glad to haveyou Neal! Don't limit yourself to 83. 83 was the last year of the 2WD cars, but the Eagle wagons were made through 88. There isn't much difference from 83-88, so my advice would be to get the latest model you can find. The SX/4 will be the harder to find as it was only made about three years (81-83, I think). It will be tough to find a five speed wagon, but they do show up occasionally. Most of the later models (85-88) will have all the power options and an auto trans, but even the five speeds are pretty loaded. 

Good luck on your search! Keep an eye on all the local papers, www.epage.com AMC section, and check e-bay occasionally. In order to get what you want you will have to be willing to travel a bit though.
