Russ, you said... >Nice article Gwen, good to finally place a face with >all your postings. How did they ever contact you >originally? They initally contacted the local chapter of the AMC/Rambler Club, looking for stock (though not necessarily restored) vehicles to photograph for the magazine. A handful of us went for it. I do not know how many they actually ended up shooting, but they did Little Car and a 1961 Classic from a chapter member the same day. If anything, I am surprised how short this process was: the original request went out in December, and I was contacted in Mid-January. The shoot was Mid-March. >Some mention was made a while ago about the 63 being >more desirable than the 64. I prefer the 64 because of >the front grill, the availability of the 232 and the >hdtp option. Not being a 4-dr fan (someone give me 57 >Rebel please) I like the hdtp....... Well, I obviously prefer the '64 personally, but I think it was I who mentioned the greater desirability of the '63. It being the "car of the year" and all. Still, I agree, I prefer the front grille on the '64 more than the '63. I think the '63 get the better side trim options, though.
