Chad,
You should be able to pick up both at a local auto parts store for under
$200. Installing used steering and suspension parts is just dumb if you
plan on driving the car and a used steering gear is likely to leak and/or
be worn out anyway. I put a rebuilt gear I picked up from Autozone (it was
even in stock) in my `68 American years ago and it's given me no trouble.
The only "issue" I had with it was it was painted blue. That was resolved
with a can of black spray paint.
Additionally, you should plan on new hoses and either rebuilding your pump
(easy and inexpensive) or picking up a rebuilt pump. The reason for doing
this is to prevent contaminating the rebuilt steering gear with any trash
from the old one. BTW, if you don't do this with a rebuilt gear, you may
void it's warranty.
