I heard part of the same story about the supposed 401 poilice interceptor car also. Believe me when I tell you that it was a bunch of bull. This car has drum brakes and the vin decodes as a 304 car. Nothing in the interior indicates it was ever anything other then a typical beat up car. He destroyed the front bumper with his wrecker and didn't even know there was a 460 motor in the car for the 6 years he had it. He also told me the tires held air and changed the subject when it came to title. Luckiely I brought 2 spare tires and a trailer instead of the dolly I had planned on. I had to send a letter to the New Mexico DMV to do a title search and I left the 2 front tires in the yard where they came from. If they held any air pressure in the last few years, I would be shocked. The rear has mismatched junk also, but they do have air in them. Overall I paid what the car was worth for the project I have in mind. It's no wonder the $1500 offer he claimed did not pan out. I sold my! Donohue because it was too nice to modify, but this car will rise again, better this time. Richard Payne Las Vegas 72 Javelin 77 Prostreet AMX
