Joe Fulton <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx>, you said... >With all the attention paid to Gwen's Rambler (Congratulations Gwen) in HCC >(June 05), three other pro-AMC/Nash articles may have been overlooked. Thanks. :-) >The 49-51 Nash is featured in an Engineering Marvel article. In John Katz's >"Honorable Mention" column the second generation (56-62) Ramblers are called >America's first mid-sized car and dimensions of the 56 Rambler are compared >to a contemporary Mercedes. Also, as ususal Pat Foster provides coverage of >an independent. This time Hudson and Miller Motors are mentioned. I gotta >visit that place sometime. I've certainly noticed, in the last couple issues of HCC, that there is a LOT of good AMC/Rambler coverage, including the Rambler Advance Styling Studio and top marks for the Eagle in the May issue, and the '54 Nash Miss American shot, '26 Nash, and Metropolitan Pit Shop articles in the April issue. If we don't watch it, some people might see AMC products as worthy of as much press as some other makes. Maybe.
