Matador with Strange Noise

My son's Matador is making a strange noise.  There is a clicking or snapping 
noise that seems to be coming from the drive shaft.  We have it up on the 
lift and there's nothing bumping against the drive shaft.  Turning the rear 
wheel by hand it seems to happen about once each revolution.  Could this be 
in the rear end?  Any suggestions on what to check?  

I also noticed that both rear wheels turn in the same direction.  Does this 
mean the car has a posi rear end?
