Re: Florida Marlins- what would Jesus drive?

Hmmmm...

One if the listers mentioned that the Grim Reaper drives a black Marlin (hope it's a '67). Pretty cool. Pretty Retro.
There would be no mistake about what's in your future if you come home and find it in your driveway.

Out of the list presented in the above article, perhaps the vehicle Jesus could have driven should be the (AMC designed) Humvee. Why? You can't drive a '58 Rambler on sand dunes!!

However, if you ask What would Lord Krishna drive ... (thanks to research provided by Kunal Banerji from Florida Atlantic University)

.... and Lord Krishna (of Hare Krishna fame) actually drove a chariot (12 horsepower -- literally) for his buddy, Arjuna, into the battle of Kurukshetra where he just stated the facts of life to a shell-shocked Arjun. His words came to be known as "The Gita" -- the holy book for the Hindus.

I have a feeling he would have rode a Porshe 911 convertible or maybe a Bugatti or a Lambroghini Diablo. After all he had 108 gopinis (girl-friends) and was the Crown Prince of Kingdom of Vrindavan (the area around present city of New Delhi). He definitely needed a set of "babe-mobiles", and he could pay cash for them.

(Sorry Jesus!!!)

PS -- One of his 20th century (so-called) disciples, Bhagwan Rajneesh, had 120 Rolls Royce Silver Ghosts - all were painted in Saffron color (the Holy color of Hinduism).
