A: I found one in a GM vehicle that was chrome metal. I think it came from a 
'66 Pontiac I used to have. Made a nice replacement for the hood release 
handle that snapped. (Don't have that Eagle anymore and have no idea where 
the pics are)

Ayup, it just unscrews! I've been collecting them from 'yards, but
they all seem to have a bad finish, out here in Los Angeles.
