You don't really want one of these cars if it still has the diesel engine in it. My grandparents had an Oldsmobile with this engine in it and they had a bunch of trouble with it. A lot of them were replaced with gas engines.

There is actually one good use for this engine (if the mains aren't cracked) -- they're a ton tougher than the standard Olds block they're based off of. You can convert them back to gas (have to replace the guts) and then you can build a ton of power with them.

If I were looking for an older, cheap, diesel car, I'd look for an old Golf or Rabbit or even an old Mercedes.
