My local old-car-friendly trans guy wants $750 to rebuild my 904, with a TransGo kit and a rebuilt converter. Work quality is high.
Is this a decent price? I know about the 998, I just don't have one, and only a mildly hopped 258 is going in front of it.
Is a solid 2nd band worth it? Any mods that will get me increased longevity? Clearly I'll put a good cooler on it.
