First time in a long time now, I had a chance to
visit CAP auto parts in Richmond today, so I paid my
buck and wandered in. Didn't find but one AMC car, a
red Matador wagon, 74-78 vintage I guess. As per
usual, I found all the V-8 AMC 360 distributors pulled
and the gears missing. I'm REALLY wondering who is
doing that??? I haven't found a single gear yet in my
trips there.
Anyway, back to the wagon...mostly there, the wheels
and rear axles already gone. Most of the interior is
there, not great condition. NOt much to speak of,
unless you need a grill, fender, door, etc. Rust in
the back. I picked up a flip lock lever from the
wagon, but it was in the mini-van next to it, someone
musta taken it off and left it next door. I couldn't
get the passenger side one off, though...stuck tight!
