" i've been e member of the list for a little over a year now, but dont post a " lot. In my gremlin i have the 232 with an offy intake and holly 400 4 " barrel, and the stock 3spd auto (998?), and the non 'posi' rear end (AMC " 15?).
tf904 and amc15.
If you care about handling, the amc15 axle is about 100 lbs lighter than the amc20. That's a lot of unspring weight, in the rear of a car with a light rear end to begin with. I don't think there's a twin-grip amc15 (others may have facts), but they're cheap and plentiful.
You'll need a shorter driveshaft with the big axle; the rear "U" is closer to the front of the car.
