I did a survey of my Ramblers to see what kinf of heater control valves they had. Here are the results: 1969 Rambler, factory 290 car. Horizonal inlet & outlet on firewall. Intake manifold has an elbow pointed toward the driver side od the car. There is a "U" shaped hose that connects the manifold fitting to the control valve. 1969 Rogue, 232 with water heated intake manifold Horizonal inlet & outlet on firewall. Hose run from heater control valve to fitting on rear of intake manifold. 1969 Rambler, 199 with "Factory air" installed by previous owner (Bob Hodson). One horizonal fitting and one vertical fitting; valve is firewall mounted. Vertical fitting goes to thermostat housing. 1968 American, factory 290 car. Same setup as 1969 290 Rambler in first listing. 1968 American, 199 with factory a/c. Mounted on firewall, both fittings horizonal. 1968 American, 199 Mounted on firewall, both fittings horizonal. Kennedy has the threaded style that screws into the manifold, and the style that is attached to the firewall with two horizonal fittings. I don't know if Kennedy has the style with one vertical and one horizonal fitting. While it is NOT listed in the catalog, I know that Jeff only lists the more common stuff in his catalog. He may well have it. Have you looked at American Parts Depot? Doug has his catalog online. And, no, I didn't look before I started this post. I just thought of it.
