Tom, Do you know if the firewall valve has both inlet and outlet horizontal? Is one vertical and one Horzontal? Their parts catalog shows the Firewall mounted valve as part number HA162 @ $25, and the valve that screws into the rear corner of the intake manifold as part number HA388 for $35. These are parts manufactured by the original AMC vendor and are NEW, not OLD STOCK. The manufacturer is closing their manufacturing facility here in Ohio, so Jeff Kennedy ordered about a pallet load of the valves. They are exactly correct. I recently replaced an original valve that had just gotten too hard to open & close with a new valve. Wow, what a difference! > >Part numbers are from the Kennedy American 2004 catalog. >Tom Bunsey > >No, I'm not a shill for Jeff Kennedy, but I Have known him since 1980. >And, since he is only ten miles from me, I'm over there quite a lot getting parts for my cars. Thus I have a fair idea what he carries. >> >> >> __________________________________ >> Do you Yahoo!? >> Yahoo!
