John; On your tranny selection you mention the 700R.
Have you considered the 200R instead? I have never run
one of those trannies but folowing the GM guys chatter
they like the 200 over the 700 the same way as we like
the 904 over the 727, less rotating weight and a good
performer with the proper precautions. Cheaper too.
And a little smaller.....Russ
