John go to tirerack.com and go to the specs of a particular tire your looking for they give its dimensions.

My Hornet's original tire size is D70-14, which roughly equals (correct me if I'm wrong) P195/70-R14.

Now my understanding is 195 is millimeters
of tread width, while 70 means 70% of the
treadwidth is the sidewall height, and 14
is naturally the wheel diamter in inches.

I'm looking to find out what is the near-
equal size in width and height for a 15"
tire. Is P195/60-R15 the closest? And is
225/60-R15 too wide/tall for a stock Spirit
suspension to handle?

Thanks in advance,

John
