*Colin,
I am not going to argue for Randy to stay on the list but I think he
should be given one more chance and in that chance let him know
to keep
his posts civil and about AMC's, not some of the other stuff he has
posted.

> That is Colins call - and as most know - he has posted his
response - read it ?

 * And as far as letting Frank Swygert taking over the list, I am
definitely against this. Why?

> No one is T'aking over the List' - and -
I have no problem with Frank Swygert having
oversight of this list - None whatsoever:

He is a car & article builder and interested party
in projects on this List - which you are mostly not.

He is friendly - which you are mostly not either.

He does publish out of pocket - Articles on AMC and
builder projects - frequently contributes information
to this List - which you do not, yet you continue to
attack his efforts at every chance you get.

* First because he is the publisher of AIM
(American Independent Magazine) and as such can in no way,
shape or form be truly independent in running this list, which
should be most important.

> Well, nice you could remember the Name of his Publication
finally. You repeatedly wrote :>" what ever you call it" etc.
in your last posts this past week. I was sincerely concerned
with your Senility ~!

As to being truly Independent in running this list - I'm quite
certain Frank would show the light impartial touch as needed.

Your statement inferrs that Background and Capacity are
Liabilities - which in Franks case, is simply not true.

*He also has stated he would like to become the president of two
AMC (AMO -AMCRC) clubs or at least, an officer in them, and
again, like I said he couldnot remain independent in running the
list.

> Well! Such a statement might provide impetus to others
to think about running and joining other AMC involvements.
Its good that Talented People remain as actively involved
as time allows - it serves the greater need.
However it goes - I wish him all the Best,
and am certain a lot of positive will come
from his Stewardship.

*It would be just too easy for him to run people off the list that
might seem to him to be detrimental to his magazine, AMO or
AMCRC.

> I've never seen anything in Franks Posts nor his writings to
justify your singularly personal attacks , speaking frankly Jock.

 * As the long time president and editor of an international AMC
car club, I myself should not be the one in charge of an AMC
orientated list

> ...y'awn', I agree, but not for those reasons , that It would be
Best for the List, if you remain a Member in Good Standing and let
it go at that.

Is the Editing a Car Club anything like Chiefing Parking Lot
Attendance?

*or should I be one of those chosen to be on the board of list
supervisors go can kick people off the list. And neither should
Frank Swygert. I truly believe that who ever runs the list and is on
the board should be truly independent and unbiased.

> I truly believe that regardless of whomever
does monitor this list -
you have disqualified yourself Jock,... with Distinction.

May our AMC-List go forward with the Appropriate Interest
and Appropriate Monitor,
leaving aside our Regional Maul Segment.
