Re: Who,

A: If I have time (and money) once I get my big Jeep finished (3 years
collecting parts and it's almost ready to assemble!) I would like to find an
'80 (or '79) Pacer wagon body in good shape to do a rotary conversion on.
(or maybe just another 4.6L stroker with Jeep 2wd 4 speed auto and EFI)
It wouldn't be the first vehicle powertrain swap I have done (I have put
an AMC 6 in a Chevy van, Mazda rotary in a VW van and a dune buggy, Chev V8
into a '70 Datsun pickup, Chev Luv motor in an Isuzu P'up, thereby making it
a Luv P'uppy, etc, etc) so knowing how is the easy part. It's my time and
monetary/physical limitations that stop me these days (currently visiting a
Doc twice a week to hopefully cure that problem before it breaks my heart...
literally)
There are a number of little projects in the way, but even my wife would
approve of a PAcer that was a real mover/shaker (I like the later raised
hood design)
