the fours all have different patterns than the old sixes.  what you
probably saw was an amc 150 of '83-4 or so.  this mill has a chevy 2.8
v6 pattern and was backed up by tf904s in mjs, tjs, yjs, xjs, a few
cars, and maybe cjs '84-up.  nb. xj/mj fours got aw4 autos ~'87-'93.
