None of the V8 2 barrels will fit the 6 cylinder 2 barrel manifold without an
adapter of some sort - wrong size bolt pattern.

IIRC Amos Johnson was able to get the Gremlin up to 150mph with a 1 barrel but
'it ain't easy'.
