I agree, the Ford style carbs are pretty good units.However,if one
does not have luck with the Autolite/motorcraft type cars, all he 
has
to do is get a Holley 2 barrel. They bolt right on. They make them 
in
every size from 350 CFM to 650 CFM. No adapters needed, just 
unbolt
one, bolt on the other one.
