The cars around back ARE heavily overgrown, more so than up front, when I was there. Some only a bumper or roof stick out of the brambles and vines. Sad! -Jerry - > Does anyone know the > story of this place? From my male CRS-infected brain, Jim, I vaguely remember from a previous List accounting that the owner of the dealership bought all the inventory from Chrysler when AMC got bought up, and basically kept it open "as is". Not sure of all the whys, hows, motivations, etc., just that an individual kept this one open. Far as "spooky"...it's a combination of them all to me...a time-warp look into the past. It looks like one of those disaster films, where 99% of the world's population dies off from a super-virus, and everything just stopped for 20 years...cut to the film. :) Everything is in it's place, there's just no one around to care for it, except a few wandering souls looking for "The Last Bastion of Civilization". Wow, hey look, a Ram Air 390 Javelin! Lets hot-wire it and see if it still runs! Only thing else I know about it is that the owner will sell cars, but that his prices are supposedly high...yeah, the Pacer may only have 100 miles on it, but with the roof rusting out, it's not worth $5,000 ! Too bad, looks like a few of the cars are worth saving, but not at top dollar up front! I would like to go back myself, see it again sometime. Glad you got to see a little piece of AMC history, even time "warped" as it is. - Jerry - __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Read only the mail you want - Yahoo!
