I agree with Matt!
Unless they are of new manufacture, they will be brittle too.
YOu can still buy NOS, for example Rambler strut bushings (rubber)
new in the bag, but they are old, outgassed all the plasticizers,
and don't last for sh*t. They're only good for museum cars.
Old rubber and plastic don't last.
