I've really got other work ahead of that for now, with the floorpans being more immediate, and really, getting the work area better organized/ready ahead of that. I did a crazy thing and started taking apart the car, then realizing that many of the parts I've been stashing for this project can't be found without intense searching! My thoughts now on the interior are to buy more modern black leather buckets with either no back seat, or a matching back seat as a take-out item from a salvage yard. I've been looking online and while some newer car seats don't (IMO) fit the style of my American, some look quite well and offer a number of advantages over trying to find and redo a stock set. Recover/remake the door panels in the stock style in black leather, and hopefully be able to find and get it here a good original headliner that will also be painted black. I'm insulating the car completely, putting in a hidden moderate stereo, and I have all the factory AC pieces. I'll keep looking locally or nearby for the headliner as I'd feel better about bringing it home myself, or maybe from a hookup at the AMO Nat's in Atlanta this yr - we'll see how it works out.
